I recently finished reading the ongoing webtoon, Girls of the Wild's. It's another cool read! I suggest you guys read it too.

Shingeki no Kyojin/ Attack on Titan

So here's the thing... last 2013 I've been watching some pretty cool anime. Some were recommended by a friend. Others were new releases for 2013. One of my favorites is Shingeki no Kyojin, also known as Attack on Titan. Before I watched that, it's been a while since I last watched an anime. Which is one of the main reasons why I don't update that much in this blog. I stopped blogging for a while too because of my academic requirements. But now I'm back because I'm bored and and I just feel like writing about stuff I watch.

The story is pretty interesting. With all the giants eating only humans. They don't do animals. LOL. I had a few questions about this anime when I was watching the first few episodes. Like "When did they have the time to build huge walls all over when the Titans appeared?" or "Why not just live underground?" Stuff like that. Anyway, what I love most about Shingeki no Kyojin is the action. I feel kinda sad about Petra. She died. I was going for Levi x Petra. But I'm still Eren x Mikasa. ♥

Because the anime is such a cliffhanger. (At least for me.) I decided to read the manga as well. It's still ongoing and the story's becoming more and more interesting. You guys should read it. 

Summary:

Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by giants. Giants are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings and, worst of all, seem to do it for the pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the biggest of giants. Flash forward to the present and the city has not seen a giant in over 100 years. Teenage boy Eren and his foster sister Mikasa witness something horrific as the city walls are destroyed by a super giant that appears out of thin air. As the smaller giants flood the city, the two kids watch in horror as their mother is eaten alive. Eren vows that he will murder every single giant and take revenge for all of mankind. Manga or Manhwa?

Manga is the Japanese version of comics while Manhwa is the Korean version. I just want to compare both versions. You see, I like shoujo mangas with some romance. (I'm a girl, what do you expect? HAHA!) But sometimes, I prefer reading the Manhwa-Shoujo version. I'm not really certain why but the flow of the story has some distinction. Manhwa gives the kind of story that I like. Though most of it have very similar plot, I still like it. :) 

The manga (shoujo) version is nice too but most of the time... half-way I tend to get bored with it. Of course, there are also some shoujo manga that I am very addicted to. No matter how long the story's been, I still want more of it. One of this is Skip Beat. I just love that. HEHE!

I'm not saying that I don't get bored with Manhwas. I also get bored with sometimes. Well, it really depends on a person's preferences. Sometimes manhwas story just keep going on cycle and no improvement at all. 

I'm not going to compare the art work/drawing for both versions because it doesn't really matter to me. What matters is the flow of the story (for me). :)

Ichinose Tokiya of Uta no Prince sama Maji Love 1000%

So let me talk about Ichinose Tokiya for this blog post. 

Actually, Ichinose Tokiya in Saotome Academy is the same as Ichinose Hayato. I wasn't expecting that though. It was told that he is the twin brother of Hayato but the one currently posing as Tokiya is none other than Hayato himself.

Of course, this character is also attracted to Nanami Haruka, the female main character. At first he ignores Nanami but later signs her up as his partner. Whew! Well, you'll be watching it sooner or later anyways (or perhaps you've watched it).

He used to belong to Class S until he was transferred to Class A. But after his encounter with Nanami on the beach resort, his worries or maybe problems(?) was decreased. HAHA! My choice of words isn't appropriate, I think?

He used to look at her like this (maybe from time to time? HAHA!) ...

So yeah... their relationship got better.

Wishing to compose a song for her idol, Hayato, to sing someday, Haruka enrolls into Saotome Academy. Prior to her enrollment, Haruka has no experience in reading sheet music despite being able to play the piano. (Wikipedia) She learned to play the piano from her grandmother, whom she lived with out in the country due to her poor health. She at times feels the lack of confidence in her musical abilities, because she has had no formal training. However, despite her disadvantages she overcomes them with a positive attitude, hard work, and perseverance.

The anime's story is very different from the manga. I watched the anime though it's still incomplete... the female lead (Nanami) is the demure type while in the manga, she's a big clutz. HAHA! Quite the opposite~ eh? 


The story is mostly about guys around her falling for her. I mean... HAHA! What an impossible situation! Well, we're talking about anime and manga here after all. HEHE ♫

I can't help but play it over and over again. Even though I don't understand Japanese, the subtitles help a lot. here's the video... Enjoy!

Annarasumanara: "Do you believe in magic?"

It's been so long since I wrote something about manhwas/Korean comics. HAHA! Well.. I don't know what to post anymore and I just wanna write something that interests me. (^-^) ... So...

"Do you ...

... believe in magic?"

That's what the magician often asks in the manhwa. HAHA! Hell NO! I don't. Why? 'Coz... I just don't. HAHA! Simple as that. Well whatever. they just made the word magic for the sake of "magic". It's actually trickery. There's always something behind that so-called magic... But if ever it's real, do me a favor and show it to me... the REAL deal. 

About the manhwa, the summary goes like this.. let me just copy-paste it... HAHA!

A rumor goes around school about an abandoned amusement park and a magician who lives there that can make someone disappear for good. Yoon Ai, a very smart girl in her class, struggles to feed herself and her sister everyday. She just wants to become an adult faster so that she can escape from the poverty and the reality of her current situation. One day, her life changes as she meets a childish magician.

Here's what I think ...

First, I want to tell you all.. that I have no idea what Annarasumanara means.. I think it's the incantation or whatever shiz of the magician. Don't know much about it. Though it sounds interesting to me. So far the story is interesting, but one thing that bothers me a lot is.. the guy drawn with a head as a big balloon. I'm not sure if they purposely did that. But then, it is clearly indicated in the manhwa that ... that character is handsome? HAHA! What a joke. See..

What the heck?! 

^&*@!#T*)(@&#(P?!~ Good looking , huh? HAHAHAHA! But then I read something in a forum and saw what he really looks like, though they only showed it at the ending part.. so they say. He looked better. Don't know what's up with the artist to make him look like a balloon. HAHA! Well.. according to others, it is to symbloze his being "above all others"? Because his name is Il Deung meaning Number One. Whatever. I'm only after the story anyways. 

The translation is still incomplete. But I think the manhwa is already complete. Just need to translate but it's been so long since their last update. Wonder if they dropped it? I hope not.

Enough with Il Deung, let's go with Yoon Ai and the magician... So the girl in the beginning says that she isn't interested in magic. But then she encountered the magician and he kept on following her? AArgh.. I find myself giving a summary of the whole thing that I've read. So I'll stop with that. I'm getting carried away. Let's just say.. the girl is now interested in learning magic. Kapish! HAHA! And.. Il Deung is jealous. HAHA! Read the manhwa, you might like it. MIGHT! So that's it. Mishounen Produce manga

Hey all! I got a good manga I wanna share with you. Just as what's written above (post title), the manga is called...

MISHOUNEN PRODUCE!

This is another great piece of work. KYAAAA! I really like the characters! The chapters translated to English doesn't update that much. I'm not sure why, but that's just the way it is. As of now, there's only 5 chapters translated to English.

Here's a synopsis I thought of...
The story is about two childhood friends, Kaako and Kousei, who grew up in a deep province where trees and mountains are viewed from every corner and technology doesn't seem to have any effect there for there is no sign of it. They live similar during the past. You get the idea. HAHA!
They both moved to the city to study in high school and as they arrived, there are some city girls who talked badly of Kousei about being a country bumpkin, and Kaako heard it. And so, she is determined to shock those city people about the true charms of Kousei.

It's a really good manga for girls. I'm not sure if guys will like it. HAHA! Unless.. they also admire Shoujo mangas.. :P

Anyway... here are some parts of the manga... I'm sure you'll like it. Especially girls who love reading Shoujo mangas and for those searching for bishounens aka hot guys (manga).
